What we believe
The Bible
The Bible (Old and New Testament) is the infallible Word of God. It is our only rule of faith and practice. We have no other creed or doctrine. The 66 books are inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in all that is right.

God is eternal — He existed before our physical universe, created all things, and made humankind in His image to enjoy fellowship with Himself for all eternity. He is the only true God.

Jesus is the Son of the living God — God in the flesh, who came from heaven to redeem humankind. He is the Messiah of the Old Testament, the Savior of the world, who died on the cross to save us from sin and rose again.

The Holy Spirit is the indwelling presence of God which marks us as followers of Jesus. He is given as a gift to all who turn away from sin and are immersed, empowering us to do good works and shaping our lives into what God intends.

Jesus was raised bodily from the dead by God on the third day after His crucifixion. The resurrection is at the heart of Christianity — without it, our faith would be meaningless. It was witnessed, proclaimed, and changes everything.

The church is the body of Christ on earth, with Christ as the head. All believers serve as ministers of the gospel, and together the church is called to make disciples of every tribe, people, and language until Christ returns.

Created in His image
God created all humans, male and female, in His image — and called them good. All people have intrinsic value and purpose. God holds children in especially high esteem, and we believe that those who die in a state of innocence — whether unborn, infant, child, or developmentally challenged — will immediately be in the presence of God in heaven.

Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve and separates us from God. When we rebel, our sin alienates us from Him and we need to be redeemed. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are without hope apart from the blood of Jesus Christ.

Jesus died and rose again to pay the price for our sin. Good deeds alone will not save you — you must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and receive the Holy Spirit so that you can be redeemed and covered again by His grace.

Everyone who believes and trusts Jesus as their Lord and Savior will inherit eternal life. It is by grace that you have been saved, through faith in Jesus Christ — this is not of your own doing, it is the gift of God, not by good deeds so that no one can boast. We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good deeds which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Life with Jesus starts NOW and lasts FOREVER. Christ will visibly return to restore creation and judge the world. Believers will rise to eternal life with God in heaven; those who reject Him will face eternal judgment. In heaven, sin will be no more, and those in Christ will live in fellowship with God forever.
